Kim had her first game of the season the team won by 2 points. Kim had a lot of play time in JV and was so super excited. The next game was in St. George a six hour bus ride the morning the team left she woke up with a sore throat, then next day it was worse, she could not play, she came home very ill and John took her to urgent care since I was working. She had strep but it had spread through her entire throat she could not swallow, she said the pain was worse than when she had her tonsils out. She could not eat or drink for over 5 days….she was the sickest I had ever seen her. Because of missing practice and being ill she has missed three games already. It has broken her heart. What a way to start the season. We are just glad she is healthy and had the medicine to get better fast. Here she is with her bestest friend and team mate Tristin.
