Sew- Learning

Getting ready for the trek. Both Kim & Blake are old enough to go. Blake is very excited to go, Kim is not so excited but she is going (she told me only because I have been working so hard on getting her clothes made.) I have never really been taught to sew. Ya in school I sewed a few things with the help of my teach and when I was expecting Kim I made her bedroom set…it was sewn very badly. I get to impatient and I am not the best at detail. I was going to sew her trek clothing with just a folded hem. (I told you the story about how I got my sewing machine) A few weeks ago I thought I was going to have all this sewing completely done. Nope I got her bag and pantaloons complete and still have 2 skirts, 2 aprons and another bonnet to sew. I am so thankful for my friend Timpi she also has a daughter and son going so she is sewing and she gave me a blouse for Kim to wear & is teaching me to sew. She is so amazing so kind, the best mother of 5, she works at the deli with me, is very dependable and her husband just started truck driving also so I have that experience to share with her. OK gotta go get sewing…I have to admit I love sewing at her house (she has AC) I am so surprised how relaxing sewing is to me.
