This week, create your family tree. As you complete your family tree you feel such respect for your ancestors.
Who do you include in your family tree? You, your parents, your grandparents & great grandparents.
I did not have photos of all my great grandparents so I listed their names. For this project I scanned and printed the photos to the same size. Here are a few more tips when working with old family photos. Carefully remove photos with UNDO and dental floss. Scan and print duplicates of heritage photos to preserve and to share the originals. Once you have scanned old photos upload to a photo website or burn to disc for future projects.
Details you may want to include about each family member are:
Their full given name (always use the maiden name for women)
Born:
Place:
Married:
Place:
Died:
Place:
I did not include all information on this layout (such as where born, married, death) because I will include these details on each of the layouts I complete about them as individuals in upcoming challenges.
Other layouts can include:
A layout about shared family traits.
A layout that shows your favorite treasured heritage photos, share the stories to keep them alive
My Layout: I did the stiching which is somthing I have not done on a layout in a while and spent alot of time making this layout. The scans are fuzzy.
